Tactics is the primary supporting skill for Combat.

Usage

Tactics is a passive skill that increases the damage of attacks.

A Tactics skill of 42.5 or more is necessary to use Primary Weapon Abilities. A Tactics skill of 87.5 or more is necessary to use Secondary Weapon Abilities.

Tactics skill higher than the required minimum reduces the penalty to repeatedly using the same Weapon Ability within 3 seconds, removing the penalty entirely for primary moves at 85 skill and secondary moves at 175 skill.

Formula

The Damage Bonus % = Tactics / 1.6 (+ 10% if Tactics at 87.5 or higher)

Penalized Cost = Regular Cost * (2 - (Tactics / MinSkill)) to a minimum of Regular Cost.

Differences from Ultima Online

Tactics' effects are largely unchanged, mostly lowering the skill required for increased effect from 100 to 87.5.
