Dodge is one of the two major defensive skills along with Block

Usage

Dodge is a passive skill that negates an enemy hit after it was believed to have struck successfully. A character mounted or wielding a shield will not attempt to dodge when attacked.

Dodge consumes stamina every time the user successfully dodges, costing successively more stamina when dodging within 6 seconds of the last successful dodge.

Dodging requires that the user have at least 50% of their stamina remaining, so reducing the stamina of the target is an effective way to counter this skill.
The Plumed leather set can reduce the cost of dodging

Formula

%Chance = [(Skill / 200.0 ) -5% per consecutive dodge] * Stam Ratio

100 Dodge skill has a 50% chance at full stamina the first time they dodge.

Differences from Ultima Online

  • In the original Ultima Online, the Dodge skill functioned a bit like "Parry" in that it acts as a perfect damage mitigation.
