The doughty cleric is an inspiring figure, often the centerpiece of a fighting formation. Though their specific tactics vary wildly with the doctrines of their faith; clerics boast a solid defense with their trusty mace and healing skills. A soldier of faith and a zealous follower of a Pantheon. The Clerics commune with the Gods through their prayers.

Gameplay

In combat, a Cleric's role shifts from 'support' to 'offense', and vice-versa, as the situation arises, considering they are at once a source of damage and healing. They can usually be found in the middle of formations, from where they can attack and cast, without placing themselves in danger. Clerics tend to favor medium armor and perform better with mace fighting weapons and a shield. They must spend their stamina wisely, as it is used for Prayers, moving and attacking. Clerics have access to Healing skill, which allows them to heal themselves or others with bandages.

Getting Started

As a cleric, you must locate a shrine. The majority of, if not all, cities have a shrine somewhere that will set you to certain pantheon. You can change your pantheon whenever you want. Once you've double clicked the shrine and set yourself to that pantheon you will be to cast the spells for that pantheon.

Beware, after leaving a pantheon the gods are loath to take you back. Leaving a pantheon incurs a 2 week timer on the character, preventing them from rejoining that pantheon or any church that worships it.
